SMS Terms of Service
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from [Brand/DBA]. This includes SMS messages for Customer Care. Message frequency varies. Customers may opt in to receive SMS notifications from Powder Addiction verbally during in-person job intake, over the telephone, or through our customer intake process.

For walk-in and telephone customers, a Powder Addiction employee asks the customer for permission to send SMS notifications regarding their quote, order, job status, pickup, delivery, billing, or other service-related communications.

The customer is informed that message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and that they may reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase goods or services from Powder Addiction.

Example verbal consent request:

“Would you like to receive text message updates from Powder Addiction about your job, including status and ready-for-pickup notifications? Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance.”

Only customers who affirmatively agree are enrolled to receive automated SMS notifications. Powder Addiction does not use this consent to send third-party marketing or promotional messages.

By providing your mobile number and consenting to receive text messages from Powder Addiction, you agree to receive automated SMS/text messages related to your business with Powder Addiction.

Messages may include, but are not limited to:

• Quote or order information
• Job status and production updates
• Ready-for-pickup notifications
• Pickup or delivery information
• Billing or payment-related notifications
• Other service-related communications regarding your job or account

Powder Addiction respects the privacy of our customers and the information provided to us.

Customer information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide our services, communicate regarding quotes, orders, job status, pickup, delivery, billing, and other business-related matters.

Powder Addiction does not sell, rent, or share customer personal information for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and text messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Powder Addiction.

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you subsequently provide consent again.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive SMS messages applies only to communications from Powder Addiction and is not transferred, sold, or provided to another business for its marketing or promotional use.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever reasonably possible. When a refund to the original payment method is unavailable or inappropriate, Powder Addiction may issue the refund by check.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 3–7 business days. Processing times imposed by banks, credit card companies, or other financial institutions are outside the control of Powder Addiction.

Powder Addiction stands behind the powder coating services we perform.

Any approved warranty claim is limited to the original amount charged by Powder Addiction for the affected work.

Powder Addiction is not responsible for outside labor, removal or installation costs, disassembly or reassembly, transportation, equipment rental, downtime, loss of use, lost profits, consequential damages, or other costs incurred by the customer or any third party in connection with warranty work.

Warranty coverage applies only to the powder coating services performed by Powder Addiction and does not exceed the amount originally charged for the affected work.

Warranty coverage does not apply to damage or coating failure resulting from circumstances outside Powder Addiction's workmanship, including improper handling, installation damage, modification, abuse, exposure beyond the intended service conditions, substrate defects, corrosion originating beneath or outside the coated surface, or other conditions beyond Powder Addiction's reasonable control.

Powder coating colors, gloss levels, textures, metallic finishes, and other appearance characteristics may vary slightly between production batches, manufacturers, substrates, application conditions, and previously coated pieces.

Powder Addiction will make reasonable efforts to achieve the requested color and finish; however, an exact match to existing coatings, paint, samples, photographs, screens, or previously completed work cannot be guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Customers are responsible for identifying any surfaces, threads, holes, tolerances, mating surfaces, or other areas that must remain free of coating before work begins.

Powder Addiction is not responsible for pre-existing defects, hidden corrosion, contamination, casting defects, prior coatings, repairs, weld defects, substrate conditions, or other conditions that become apparent during preparation, blasting, heating, coating, or curing.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Powder Addiction's liability arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid to Powder Addiction for the specific affected work.

Powder Addiction is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or third-party costs or damages, including installation or removal labor, lost production, downtime, transportation, equipment rental, or lost profits.

SMS participation is optional and is governed separately by the SMS/Text Messaging Terms above. Consent to receive SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing goods or services.
